This is Car BMW 520d G31 with black mettalic paint

What's up ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this POV review by Auto now my name is Max and today we've got another viewer's car this is Bruno's BMW 520d and it is not stock Bruno bought this 520d basically to do his commute and stuff like that he wanted a big practical car uh that he could drive daily and well the 520d is actually I think one of the most sold five Series in the Netherlands and Belgium where Bureau is from and it is quite an interesting car because it has 190 horsepower 400 newton meters stock and when Bruno arrived here today with this tuned version uh like 85 percent fuel he could do like a thousand kilometers so it it has such a big rage it's practical it's good looking and well today I'm going to find out what this thing is like so spec wise we've got a relatively undercover 5 series.

 Just a regular black car with Shadow lines so the black grill as well black in the bumper basically everything is blacked out we've got these rotiform wheels uh 20 inch 245 section tire at the front Continental sport contact seven tires and behind that we've actually got a brake upgrade so these are the brakes from a 530e that means that you get 348 millimeter discs instead of 330 mils and uh four piston brake calipers instead of one piston and he also put some upgrade brake pads in there which is very nice I mean you have to think about these things when you tune like a base car because a regular one you know 330 mil with one piston brake calipers that is not going to slow you down.

If you start tuning your car I quite like these wheels actually I think they are quite cool apart from this fake Center lock thing I don't really like those but other than that quite like that wheel everything is black as you can see America's the window surrounds roof rails two 85 section tire at the rear and then we've got an exhaust and downpipe from icon Automotive what else we have well I'll show you guys so this is the two liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine stock as I said 190 horsepower 400 newton meters of torque so Bruno first went to stage one which gave him like 230 horsepower he then went to stage two with an intercooler and this is a Decat downpipe 240 horsepower 520 newton meters of torque and now it is a stage three so that means with a hybrid turbo this now has 276 horsepower and 606 newton meters of torque.

Claimed so that is quite a large bump I would say uh for a four-cylinder diesel turbocharged engine a little two liter we have measured the car so we're going to talk about the performance at the Autobahn but this is a very nice setup as your daily because I think the 5 series it is a very good looking car it's super practical uh it's comfortable it it rides well it's it's a nice handling car Bruno also upgraded the Springs so we've got h r lowering springs at the front and the air suspension in the rear has been lowered as well and in here it is the same as the outside so everything is black black leather black trim everywhere but still I mean this is it is such a nice car all right so here we go Full Throttle now this car suffers from uh something that I'm going to give a name right now and that is underwhelming diesel.

Feel something like that every time you floor a diesel and you let it run all the way to the rev limit so basically you don't feel like it's got the power that it's supposed to have and this car also suffers from that but It suffers from another problem and that is the fact that we've done a 100 to 200 measurement while a couple of them actually and uh the car doesn't really perform like a 276 horsepower car should so we did a 2309 which is not 276 so I would guesstimate uh it it has around 250 horsepower Max also been flooring it for quite a while now and we are at 233 so I would I would you know 250 horsepower is still not bad uh for a 520d that started out with 190. horsepower zero to 100 I think we did like a 6.5 6.6 run but it's definitely faster.
